Responsible Gambling Tools

Whichever game you roll the dice on at MONOPOLY Casino, our priority is that you do so safely and responsibly. You can find a number of our responsible gambling tools here, including deposit limits and session reminders.

Game In Good Hands

You can be certain that you're in good hands when you sign up and play here. Check out our Game In Good Hands pledge, where you can find three important pillars: Trustworthy, Responsible and Rewarding.

To make sure that you are ‘Responsible’ when you play, you can find some tools that can help to keep you safe and in control. Session reminders can give you a notification when you've been for a while, and you can set deposit limits to cap what you spend over a period of time.

Do I Need The Tools?

We want all of our players to have fun when they play any of our games. So, if this isn't the case for you, it might be time to stop and think about some of the following questions.

Instead of going for just 'yes' or 'no' answers, try to think about whether the answer is 'never', 'sometimes', 'most of the time' or 'almost always', which will give you a clearer idea about your situation.

  • Have you bet more than you could afford to lose?

  • Have you found yourself needing to gamble with more money to get the same feeling of excitement?

  • If you lost money, did you log back in on another day to try to win back what you lost?

  • Have you ever borrowed money or sold anything to get money to gamble?

  • Do you feel like you might not be in control of your gambling?

  • Has gambling caused you any health problems, such as stress or anxiety?

  • Have people criticised your betting or told you that you had a gambling problem, regardless of whether you agreed?

  • Has your gambling caused any financial problems for you or your household?

  • Have you felt guilty about the way you gamble or what happens when you gamble?

If you answered either either 'never' or 'sometimes' to most of the above questions, it's likely that your gambling is under control. If you answered 'almost always' to the majority of the questions, then you might have a problem.

Have a chat with one of the members of our friendly Customer Service team about your experience, or for a more in-depth test, you can check out the self assessment tool with GamCare.

Which Responsible Gambling Tools Can I Use?

When you advance to any of our games, you can use one of our tools so that you can stay in control and enjoy your gambling in a responsible way. You can discover some of these tools below.

Deposit Limits

You can put a cap on the amount of money that you can add to your account with our deposit limits tool. This means that there will be a limit on the funds that you can deposit, either on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. If you reach the limit, you'll receive a notification. Should you have more than one account with us, or an account with any of the other casinos in our network, you must set deposit limits on each of these individually.

Session Reminders

Feel like you've been playing for too long? Use our session reminders tool and you'll receive a notification once you've been playing for 30 minutes, when it might be useful to have a break.

Account Cool Off

If you feel like you need some more time away from playing, then use our account cool off tool. This means you won't be able to log in for a period of time, which can be from 24 hours up to six weeks. Just like with the deposit limits tool, you will have to cool off any other accounts you have individually.

Account Self Exclusion

Need some time to reset? Our self exclusion tool can be used if you want to take more than six weeks off. You can self exclude for up to five years, and you can reactivate your account once this period has ended by contacting our Customer Service team.

Want to Avoid Adverts?

To turn off adverts, log in and head to the My Account page. You can then opt out of seeing adverts by altering your contact preferences. If you want to remove adverts from your social media feeds, have a look at GambleAware’s advice.

Gambling is for Adults Only

We're committed to making sure that minors are safe from gambling until they're old enough to enjoy it responsibly. Only people who are at least 18 years of age may open an account with MONOPOLY Casino.

We use a third party data reference company to perform an electronic verification in order to validate the age and identity of all of our members who wish to join. We reserve the right to ask for age verification information from you and hold your account until information proving you are an appropriate age is provided. If we find anyone under 18 years old, then we will null and void any bets placed and the winnings will be forfeited.

If you're a parent who wants to monitor and restrict the use of your computer’s access to the internet, we recommend the following tools: FOSI and Net Nanny.
