Only one of these five statements is needed for the closure to be considered. Our team member will apply the closure the moment the risk is identified, so your protection is active from that same day.
GamProtect shares a fixed, limited set of registration details. The fields are:
Forename
Surname
Date of birth
Postcode
Email address
Telephone number
Your unique MONOPOLY Casino customer ID
We keep things strictly on a need-to-know basis. Your gameplay history, transaction history, messages, and any wider account records are never shared through GamProtect. The exact reason you were added to the register is also completely private and never shared with other operators.
Participating operators use the data for one purpose only: to check whether you hold an account with them, and to close or restrict it if you do. Access to the register is limited to participating operators.
Once a closure is in place, your MONOPOLY Casino account is closed, and any further deposits or play are blocked. Any funds left in your account balance can still be withdrawn to a verified payment method. All marketing messages from us - including emails, push notifications and SMS – also stop as part of the closure.
If MONOPOLY Casino is the operator that identified the risk, we act as the Closing Operator on the register. Every other participating operator where you hold an account acts as a Receiving Operator, stepping in to restrict your account under their own procedures.
A GamProtect registration remains active for five years from the day the Closing Operator adds the customer. During that time, the closure applies across all participating operators, and the customer cannot open a new account, reopen closed ones, or play with any participating brand using matching account details.
Removal from the register at the end of the five years isn’t automatic. The customer will need to contact the Closing Operator directly to request registration removal.

Any decision to reopen an account after a safer gambling closure remains with the operator that closed it, and the original safer gambling protections will still stand.

If a different participating operator applied the closure, the review sits with them. Only the Closing Operator can remove someone from the register.
If your MONOPOLY Casino account was closed as a Receiving Operator, we can only reopen it once the Closing Operator has removed the registration and confirmed it with us.
